# Terms of Service — JD1 Social Hub

## 1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using JD1 Social Hub ("the App"), provided by JD1 Studio ("we", "us", "our"), you ("merchant", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
These Terms operate alongside Shopify's Terms of Service and Partner Program Agreement.
## 2. Description of Service
JD1 Social Hub is a Shopify app that allows merchants to display a customizable contact widget on their storefront, supporting up to 9 channels: WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Telegram, Messenger, Email, Phone Calls, and SMS.
The App is currently provided as a **free service**. Premium features (custom icons, advanced analytics, A/B testing) may be introduced in future versions under a paid plan.
## 3. Eligibility
You must:
- Have an active Shopify store
- Be at least 18 years old
- Comply with Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy
- Use legitimate contact information that you own or are authorized to use
## 4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes
- Configure the widget to redirect customers to malicious or harmful destinations
- Use phone numbers, social accounts, or emails that you do not own or have permission to use
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Resell or distribute the App without our written permission
## 5. Configuration Accuracy
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the contact information you configure in the App (phone numbers, social handles, emails, etc.). We are not liable for misdirected customer communications resulting from incorrect configurations.
## 6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its source code, design, branding, and documentation, is the exclusive property of JD1 Studio. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App while it is installed on your Shopify store.
The "JD1 Social Hub" name, logo, and visual identity are trademarks of JD1 Studio.
## 7. Modifications to the App
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active merchants of significant changes via the Shopify admin or email.
## 8. Service Availability
While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions caused by Shopify, hosting providers, or third-party platforms (WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.).
## 9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JD1 Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including but not limited to lost profits, lost sales, or business interruption.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months (which, for the free plan, is zero).
## 10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JD1 Studio from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights (including platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.)
## 11. Termination
You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the App from your Shopify store. Upon uninstallation, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms.
## 12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. The "Last updated" date will reflect the latest revision.
## 13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Colombia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bogotá, Colombia, unless otherwise required by Shopify's policies.
